Irvin Dee Tharp

Irvin Dee Tharp age 87 of Snyder, TX, passed away Wednesday, May 07, 2014 at Good Life Senior Living in Snyder, Texas after a lengthy illness.

Graveside services for Mr. Tharp will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Hillside Memorial Gardens with Rev. Larry McAden officiating. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr.Tharp was born on December 18, 1926 in Pryor, OK to Bill and Rilla (Rumminer) Tharp. He married Wanda Sanders on March 22, 1952 in Madill, Oklahoma. Mr. Tharp was a World War II U. S. Navy veteran and served in the Pacific Theater. He was a member of the American Legion and V. F. W. . Mr. Tharp worked for Fluid Transport until 1987. He was a member of North college Baptist church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Alvin Tharp and sister Pauline Strickland.

Visitation will be Friday, May 9, 2014 from 6PM to 7PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home .
