Bill Murphy

Bill Murphy age 71 of Ira, TX, passed away Wednesday, May 07, 2014 at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas after a brief illness.

Services for Mr. Murphy will be held on at 4:30 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with Mr. Mark McMillan officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Murphy was born on August 12, 1942 in Snyder, TX to William Alex and Estelle (Lloyd) Murphy. He married Betty Morgan on July 18, 1964 in Ruidoso, NM. Bill loved attending rodeos to watch his grandchildren and enjoyed riding his Harley. He also loved to travel and was a big story teller and an avid reader. He loved his friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be May 9, 2014 from 5pm to 6pm at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
