Bessie Lanell Simmons

Bessie Lanell Simmons, 74 of Snyder, TX died on Monday, May 19, 2014 in Lubbock after a lengthy illness.

Service for Mrs. Simmons will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Colonial Hill Baptist Church. Internment will follow at Spur Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Simmons was born on Tuesday, January 02, 1940 in Spur, TX to Joe and Lenora(Gilmore) Latham. She married Thomas Simmons in 1969 in Spur, Texas. He died in 1991. Mrs. Simmons worked as a nursing home caregiver.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister and one brother.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2014 from 6pm to 7pm at the funeral home.
