James Newton Vaughn

James Newton Vaughn, 88 of Hermleigh ,TX died on Sunday, May 18, 2014 in Hermleigh after a lengthy illness.

Service for Mr. Vaughn will be held on Friday, May 23, 2014 at Hermleigh Cemetery at 2 PM with Mr. Bruce Smith officiating. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

James Newton Vaughn was born on January 24, 1926 in , to H.C. and Vivian(Watson) Vaughn. He married Arnita Williamson on October 14, 1944 in Roscoe, TX. She died in 2010. Mr. Vaughn was retired from the U.S. Navy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, son Jim Bob Vaughn, daughter Janice Jenson and brother Norman Vaughn.
