Mildred Beatrice Johnson

Mrs. Mildred Weir Johnson, 87, went to be with her Lord Monday June 9, 2014 in Snyder, Texas.

Funeral services for Mrs. Johnson will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday June 11, 2014, at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home, Snyder, TX. Officiating will be the Rev. Rocky Alexander, Senior Pastor, First Church of God, Ira, Texas. Internment will follow at Ira Cemetery.

Mrs. Johnson, a life-long resident of Scurry County, married Johnny Weir Jr., July 31, 1943. She was active in her church, was well known and friend to many. Mildred loved her family, friends and church Family. Born April 6, 1927, at Westbrook Texas, to Annie Mae and Clifford B. Leard.

She is survived by:
Daughter- Patricia Ann Bodkin and husband Wayne- Denton, TX.
Son- Gary Weir- Aurora, CO.
Grandson- Scott Bodkin- Denton, TX.
Grandson- Josh Weir- Loveland, CO.
Grandson- Trey Weir- Aurora, CO.

She was preceded in death by:
Husband- Johnny Weir Jr.
Parents- Clifford B. Leard and Annie Mae
Sister- Mavis Kirkland
Sister- Maurine Devaney
Brother- Leroy Leard

Visitation will be held from 6-7, Tuesday, at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home Chapel, Snyder, Texas.

The family has requested that memorials be made to First Church of God, Box 25, Ira, Texas 79527.
