Alta Faye Gernandt, 83 of Snyder,TX died on Monday, July 28, 2014 in Snyder after a lengthy illness.

Graveside service for Mrs. Gernandt will be held on July 31, 2014 , at 10:00 AM at Ira Cemetery with Rev. Harvey Tingle officiating.

Alta Gernandt was born on March 20, 1931 in Corpus Christi, TX , to Clarence and Alpha (Eberle) Otwell .She married Adrian Gernandt on June 17, 1950 in Colorado City, TX. He passed away March 28, 2014. Mrs. Gernandt was an RN for many years.
