Linda Lee Shifflett

Linda Shifflett, 74 of Snyder,TX died on Tuesday, October 07, 2014 in Lubbock after a lengthy illness.

Service for Mrs. Shifflett will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 , at 2:30 PM at Lighthouse Assembly of God with Pastor Danny Williams officiating. Internment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home

Mrs. Shifflett was born on February 10, 1940 in Comanche, TX to John Wesley and Madie Davis (Payne) Hurt. Mrs Hurt passed away in 1941, later, her father remarried Velma Bynum. She married Howard Shifflett on September 25, 1986 in Snyder. She enjoyed playing card games and working puzzles with her grandkids. She was a collector of Coco Cola products and was strong in her faith in God.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Velda Stapp and Jean Walker. Also, daughter, Sherri Smith and son Michael Bowlin.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 10, 2014 from 6pm to 7pm at the funeral home.
