Mr. R.K. Taylor, 89 of Ira,TX, died on Friday, November 14, 2014 at his residence in Ira after a lengthy illness.

Graveside service for Mr.Taylor will be held on Monday, November 17, 2014 , at 2:00 PM at Ira Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home

Mr. Taylor was born on March 16, 1925 in Lubbock, TX to Walter and Mabel(Lewis) Taylor.He married Bettie Dunn on Wednesday, June 13, 1945 in Rockwall, TX. He served in the Navy during World War II in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans aboard the USS Blessman. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a truck driver for Fina for many years.
