Mr Bernice Dale Johnston, 91 of Snyder,TX died on Sunday, January 11, 2015 in Snyder.

Service for Mr. Johnston will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 , at 10:00 AM at Bell Cypert Seale Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tommy Culwell officiating. Internment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Johnston was born on Friday, September 21, 1923 in Scurry County, to John Harrison and Myrtle (Baze) Johnston. He married Virginia Martin in 1944 in Snyder. Mr. Johnston worked at West Texas State Bank for 37 years. He also drove a truck for E.L. Farmer and Canyon Trucking and managed Scurry County Colisium for a number of years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II having served on the Petrof Bay in the Pacific. Mr. Johnston was a member of First Christian Church in Snyder.

He is survived by his wife Virginia Martin Johnston of 70 years.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, five sisters and a son in law, Ben Polston.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 13, 2015 from 5:00-6:00 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
