Milton Ham

Mr. Milton Ham, 76 of Snyder,TX died on Sunday, January 18, 2015 in Abilene after a lengthy illness.

Services for Mr. Ham will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 , at 2:00 PM at 37th Street Church of Christ with Roy McQueen officiating. Internment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Milton B. Ham was born on December 27, 1938 in Austin, TX to Richard and Dorothy(Edmonson) Ham. He married Jo Ann Miller June 26, 1959 in Snyder.

Mr. Ham was a 1957 graduate of Snyder High School. He was a 1961 graduate of Texas Christian University where he played football and recieved a Bachelor of Science in Education. He taught school in Midland and then moved to Snyder in 1970. He owned Snyder Athletic Supply from 1973-1983. He was the Mayor for Snyder in 1981, served on the city council and a member of the Lions Club. In 1990 he became athletic director and golf coach at WTC. Mr. Ham was a deacon at 37th Street Church of Christ and also taught Sunday School there.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Irvil Ham.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 20, 2015 from 6 PM to7 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
