Samuel "Sam" Harrison Stephens

Mr.Samuel "Sam" Harrison Stephens, 89 of Snyder,TX died on Friday, March 13, 2015 at his home in Snyder, Texas.

A service for Mr. Stephens will be held on Monday, March 16, 2015 , at 10:00 AM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with Rev. Alan McGuire officiating. Internment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens . Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Stephens was born on Monday, September 07, 1925 in Huntington, AR to Wilburn Monroe and Ollie ( Mosco) Stephens. He married Anna Louise Brown in 1949 and she preceded him in death in 1979. He then married Kathleen Wiggs in 1980 and she preceded him in death in 2010.

Mr. Stephens was president and co-owner of Hometown Motor Sales Co. for 43 1/2 years. And President and co-owner of Rathole Inc. Drilling Co. for 20 years. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #706 for 68 years and El Paso Scottish Rite for 67 years.

He is survived by:

Step Son - Larry Genuchi and wife Pat, Brownsville, TX
Step Daughter - Vena Alesio and husband Tommy, Lincoln, NE
Brother - Bill Stephens and wife Joyce, Snyder, TX
Grandson - Cody Wall, Snyder, TX
Granddaughter - Ashton Patton and husband Bobby, Prescott, AZ

Christopher Genuchi, Abilene , TX
Matthew Genuchi and Merideth, Boise, ID
(2) Step Granddaughters:
Chelsea Genuchi, San Antonio, TX
Josie Genuchi, Lincoln, NE

He was also preceded in death by a son, Samuel Wesley Stephens, a stepson, Skip Genuchi and a brother, W.M. Stephens Jr.

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 15, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
