Mr. John Leonard Green Jr. , 81 of Snyder,TX died on Saturday, April 25, 2015 in Snyder.

Graveside services for Mr. Green will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 , at 10:00 AM at Hillside Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ben Reid officiating. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Green was born on May 16, 1933 in Roscoe, TX to John and Gertrue(Choate) Green .He married Ruth Whitaker on May 26, 1956 in Big Spring, TX. He worked in construction and owned R & J Construction Company for over 30 years, both in Burnet and Snyder. He also spent ten years in the Sultanate of Oman, Kuwait & Indonisia, building bridges and roads. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

He is survived by his wife Ruth Green, Snyder, TX

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Billy Green, sisters Betty Jo Hildreth and Dorothy Gill and son John Green III.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 27, 2015 from 6 PM to 7 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
