Mrs. Edna Shirlene McCowen Bratton , 78, formerly of Snyder, Tx, died on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 in Victoria, TX.

Services for Mrs. Bratton will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2015 , at 2:00 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with Jay Mayo, Associate Pastor at Stonegate Fellowship, Midland, TX, officiating. Internment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bratton was born on April 08, 1937 in Snyder, TX to S.E. and Edna(Berry) McCowen. She married Ronald Bratton on April 27, 1956 in Snyder, Texas . Edna received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Houston Victoria and was a teacher for many years for the Tidehaven Independent School District and the Victoria Independent School District. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Marie Schell, Larue Haney and Loyce Thompson and 3 brothers, Allon McCowen, Lloyd McCowen and Roy McCowen.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 22, 2015 from 5 PM to 6 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
