Betty Leona Bynum Boyd

Mrs. Betty Bynum Boyd, 86 of Snyder, TX died on October 6, 2015 in a Lubbock hospital.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 8, at 2:00 p.m. at Snyder Cemetery with Mr. Levi Sisemore, officiating. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Boyd was born on Sept. 1, 1929 in Scurry County to A.A. & Euna (Graham) Behringer. She married Glendon Bynum on April 19, 1950. He died on Dec. 23, 1972. She married Warren Boyd on Feb. 17, 1978. He died on Oct. 25, 1980. She was a business woman, poet and long-time member of 37th St. Church of Christ.

Betty is survived by: Brother, Jr. Behringer & wife, Connie of Ruidoso, NM Son, Harley Bynum & wife, Judy of Midland, TX Grandchildren: Becky Martinez & husband Alan, of Midland, TX Jason Bynum & wife Julie, of Snyder, TX Great-grandchildren: Vance & Kailey Martinez; Devin & Kendra Bynum Nieces: Donna Reed & husband, Tom of Waco, TX Cindy Vannatta, of Crawford, TX Also a dear nephew & wife, Mike & Reta Graham of Lowell, Arkansas. The family wishes to express deepest thanks and gratitude to the many people in Betty’s life who helped her maintain her independence to the very end!
