Jackie Marion Pevehouse

Jackie Marion Pevehouse was born in Snyder, TX on June 13, 1941 to MB and Mildred Pevehouse. He graduated from Snyder High School in 1959 where he played football for the Snyder Tigers.

In Middle School he met Karen Lue White and later married on July 9, 1961. They moved to Hobbs, NM and Jackie worked for Drilprodco Company for 2 years where he learned the trade to be a machinist. Later they moved back to Snyder and Jackie, Mike Goebel, and Joe Roemisch started a new business and become co-owners of Production Pump Systems/Machine Tech. Jackie loved all the guys he worked with and would never ask them to do any kind of work that he would not do. He loved them like family.

Jackie loved his family. He worked very hard to make sure they had everything they wanted. That was his job, he would say. For example, he recently purchased 2 ranches, "Deer Camp" and "Camp Springs", for his kids and grandkids to play on. He loved to go out there and visit with his family and was so proud to be able to experience this with them.

Jackie was also a member of Ira Church of God.

Jackie was a fighter. He survived cancer for 2 years along with other illnesses. Jackie was ready to see his mother and be with the Lord and passed away on November 4, 2015.



He is survived by his wife, Karen Lue Pevehouse of Ira, TX.



Two daughters- Latricia Kim Jenkins and her husband Dale Jenkins of Clyde, TX.

Kathy Gayle Green of Snyder, TX.



Four grandchildren- Brandy Comer and her husband Mark Comer of Carlsbad, NM.

Haley Wilkerson and her husband Scott Wilkerson of Clyde, TX.

Amy Jenkins of Abilene, TX.

Dakota Green of Snyder, TX.



One great grandson- Grant Wilkerson of Clyde, TX.



One sister- Linda Taylor and her husband John Taylor of Knox City, TX.



Brother in law and Sister in law- Doug and Susie White of Ira, TX.



Several nieces and nephews.



He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Nelda Baze; two brothers, Charles Edward and Thomas Gene Pevehouse.



Visitation will be held Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 6PM to 7PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.



Funeral Services for Mr. Pevehouse will be held on Friday, November 06, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Rocky Alexander officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
