Mr. Manuel Alvarado Garcia, 78 of Snyder,
TX died on Saturday, February 27, 2016 in Lubbock, TX.

Funeral Services for Mr. Garcia will be held on Tuesday, March 01, 2016, at 2:00 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with Reverend Rafael Ramos officiating. Internment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Garcia was born on Monday, March 22, 1937 in Ozona, TX to Manuel and Ventura (Alvarado) Garcia. He married Lily Flores, his best friend, strength, caregiver, encourager and his life of 58 years, on September 28, 1958 in Snyder, TX. Mr. Garcia attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Post, Texas, with his son, Ricky. He was a Sunday school teacher for 10 years. He worked as a ranch hand for Ford and Doris Spikes as a ranch hand for many years. He was also a foreman for Wicks Mobile Homes and a newspaper carrier for the Dallas and San Angelo Newspapers, and then later retired in Snyder, TX.

Mr. Garcia was a character, never met a stranger and enjoyed reading and sharing God's word. He was a wonderful Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend. Papa was a humble man. He enjoyed traveling, to see his family in San Angelo and Ozona.

Special Thank you to his son, Ricky Garcia (His Golden Child) for always being there and sacrificing his time for Papa; and his Grandson Caleb, for sacrificing his time with friends, this summer and taking care of his Papo. He loved you dearly. "I gots to know" Last, but not least his wife, Little did he know, that he married his and our Rock. Love you always. To all the nurses, staff and doctors at Specialty Clinic Covenant, thank you for the care, kindness and the many stories on how the touched their lives.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 29, 2016 from 6 PM to 7 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
