Mr. A.C. Floyd, Jr., 82 of Snyder, TX passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 in Snyder.
Funeral Services for Mr. Floyd will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016 , at 4:00 PM at Colonial Hill Baptist Church with Dr. Tommy Culwell officiating, assisted by Mr. Jeff Dunn. Internment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Mr. Floyd. was born on December 01, 1933 in Yale, OK to A.C. Sr. and Opal(Ross) Floyd. He married Jane on September 28, 1996 in Snyder.
After graduating from Snyder High School, A.C. spent two years at Texas Tech University. In 1954, He married his high school sweetheart Rosie Roe. A.C. was drafted into the United States Army during the Korean War in 1955.
After receiving an honorable discharge from the Army, he returned to Snyder with his wife Rosie and baby girl, Sharon. He went to work for Rosie's father, Myron Roe, whom he partnered with at Roe's Home and Auto. In 1959, the store moved to it's present location.
In 1970, the Floyds moved to their present neighborhood which became more like a close knit family, that remains to this day.
He became a member of Colonial Hill Baptist Church in 1957, where he remained a member to this day. A.C. was active in the Jaycees, the Optimists Club and the Bass Club.

As well as many beloved nieces and nephews and his very close neighborhood family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, A.C. Floyd, Sr. and Opal; his first wife, Rosie Floyd; brother, Dean Floyd; and sister-in-law, Mary Jimm Floyd.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 13, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the West Texas Boys Ranch, 10223 Boys Ranch Road, San Angelo, Texas 76904-3665.
