Shirley Ann Pavlik

Ms. Shirley Ann Pavlik, 78 of Snyder, TX passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2016 in Snyder.

Mass Service for Ms. Pavlik will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at 11:00 AM at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with Father John Chero officiating. Internment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Shirley Ann Pavlik was born on July 03, 1937 in Yoakum, TX to Lloyd and Virginia (Hickey) Jilek

Shirley grew up in south Texas (Yoakum, Kenedy, Flatonia and Schulenburg). She loved horses and western movies. In high school, she was a twirler in the only Girl Scout Band. She was a Den Mother for many years when her sons were involved in scouting. In 1981, she opened the Lollipop House, a preschool/daycare and taught children for 19 years. She was a member of Saint Elizabeth's Catholic Church, and taught and led the Sunday School program for many years. She was a member of The Secular Franciscan Order, which is a community of Catholic men and women in the world who seek to pattern their lives after Christ in the spirit of Francis of Assisi. And she loved her Texas Aggies. She had lived in Snyder for 42 years.

and her beloved dog Frosty

She was preceded in death by her parents and infant twin brothers, Charles and William Jilek and her sons' father Erwin Pavlik.

Visitation will be held Sunday, July 3, 2016 from 5 PM to 6 PM, followed by a Rosary at 6:00 PM officiated by Deacon John Bane at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
