Jewel Ray Pinkerton

Jewel Ray (Dyess) Pinkerton, 94, born June 14, 1922 in Van Zandt, County, TX. Left this life October 13, 2016 to meet her Savior.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Pinkerton will be held on Monday, October 17, 2016, at 3:00 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with Mr. Bob Campbell officiating. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Jewel attended and finished school in Fluvanna, TX. and married Frank O. Pinkerton on June 20, 1940. She was a bookkeeper for McCormick and Sons for 20 years, then bookkeeper for Line & Line Oil Co. about the same amount of time. She was a longtime member of 25th Street Church of Christ and Eastside Church of Christ.

Survivors include one son, Elvis C. Pinkerton and one daughter, Sue (Gilbert) Boucher, both of Snyder; Four Grandchildren, Jeff Gilbert of Ira, TX, Jayna Hunter and husband, Tommy of Snyder, TX, Jody Gilbert and wife, Tonya of Snyder, TX, Sherie White and husband, Kenny of Piedmont, OK; Eight Great Grandchildren, Tyrell and Laramie Gilbert, Cody White, Landon White and Steven White and wife Tenzie, Jesi and Sidni Hunter; Three Great-Great Grandchildren, Ethan, Olivia and Karissa; and numerous Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Jackson Dyess and Otha Mae (Gideon) Dyess; father and mother-in-law, Ewel and Mollie Pinkerton, husband, Frank Pinkerton, who passed in 2005; five sisters, Ollie, Mozell, Nanny Lou, Adean and Allene; six brothers, Delmer, Lonnie, Curtis, Jimmy and two other brothers; son-in-law, James Boucher, who passed in 2004 and one grandson, Cody Lee Pinkerton, who passed in 1975.

Visitation will be held Sunday, October 16, 2016 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
