Norma Jean Cumbie

Mrs. Norma Jean Cumbie, 77 of Snyder,TX died on Friday, October 28, 2016 at Cogdell Memorial Hospital in Snyder.

Services for Mrs. Cumbie will be held on Monday, October 31, 2016 , at 2 o'clock PM at Eastside Church of Christ with Mr. Jeff Dunn and Mr. Tom Holcomb officiating. Internment will follow at Ira Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cumbie was born on Monday, October 31, 1938 in Snyder, TX to Jack and Cora (Sterling) Burney . She married Bobby Joe Cumbie on Saturday, June 26, 1954 in Lovington, NM. . They were married for 62 1/2 years. Norma worked for Dr. McSpadden for 25 years as his office manager and then worked for Cogdell Memorial Hospital for another 9 years. She was a member of the Eastside Church of Christ and was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi and the Big Country RV club.
