Mr.. Dale Rodger Sullenger, 74 of Snyder, TX died on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 in Snyder.

Mass Service for Mr. Sullenger will be held on Monday, January 16, 2017, at 2:00 PM at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with Father Jim McCartney officiating. Internment will follow at Snyder Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Sullenger was born on January 28, 1942 in Snyder, TX to Roland and Tish (Elkins) Sullenger. He married Janie Williams on August 21, 1965 in Snyder, TX.

Mr. Sullenger worked for the City of Snyder from 1963-1965, Texas Electric Service Co (T U Electric) from 1967-1992 Retired, Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home and was a manager at the Scurry County Airport, 1995-2014 Retired.

He also was a member of the Snyder Jaycees, Snyder Optimist Club, Snyder Kiwanis Club, Snyder Child Day Care, Scurry County Historical Commission, Snyder Cemetery Board of Directors, St. Elizabeth Parish Council, President and Scurry County United Way.

He was awarded Jaycees Past Presidents Award, Distinguished Service Award, Jaycee Of The Year and Boss Of The Year; Optimist Distinguished Secretary Award and Optimist Of The Year; Airport TxDot 2001 General Aviation Airport Of The Year; Snyder Chamber of Commerce Century II Leadership Award.

He was preceded in death by his Parents; Son, Stephen C. Sullenger; Father and Mother in Law, Aubrey and Rosie Williams; Brother and Sister in Law, Lee Wayne and Lana Sullenger and Niece, Laura Lee Sullenger.

Rosary will be recited on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at 6:00 PM with visitation following from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
