Mr. Johnny Wayne Edwards, 80 of Colorado City,TX died on Saturday, March 11, 2017 in Colorado City.

Services for Mr. Edwards will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 , at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church in Colorado City, Tx. with Reverend Jerry Sheilds officiating. Internment will follow at Loraine Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Edwards was born on Wednesday, January 13, 1937 in Pandora, TX to James Morgan and Effie (McFarland) Edwards.He married Meredith Jane Padgett on Saturday, June 21, 1958 in Colorado City. Mr. Edwards was the BEST carpenter, a correctional officer and worked for the state park for a couple of years He also was a U. S. Army veteran.
