Norma Louise Lofton

Norma Louise (Richards) Lofton, 89, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 8, 2017, in Austin, Texas.

She was born to Lora Mae (Laswell) and Rome Shields Richards in Coke County, Texas on August 13, 1927. She graduated from high school in Bronte, followed by business college in San Angelo. She married Keith Lofton December 15, 1945. They made Snyder their home, and joined the First Baptist Church in 1951. She was a devoted volunteer for many years at Cogdell Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband Keith.

Norma’s survivors include her sister, Roma Jeanne (Richards) Forman; her son, Larry Keith Lofton and wife Becky Orr Lofton of Austin, Texas; her grandsons Bryan and wife Missy of Austin, and Brad and wife Kate of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She adored her two great grandsons, Harry and Luke Lofton, and twin great granddaughters, Embry and Ruby Lofton.

Visitation on Tuesday, April 11 from 6-8 pm at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home, and Graveside Wednesday, April 12, at 2:00 pm at Hillside Memorial Gardens in Snyder, Texas with Reverend Steve Melton officiating.
