Caroline Elizabeth Reeder

Heavens angels called Caroline home on April 24, 2017. Caroline was the 12th child of Herman and Maggie Niedecken, born on December 19, 1927 in Snyder, Texas. Caroline married Ray W. Reeder on September 4, 1945 and they raised their 3 children in West Texas before moving back to Fluvanna in 1967.

Caroline retired from the United States Department of Agriculture after many years. Caroline enjoyed crocket, cooking and getting together with their friends for round dancing, bridge and trips. She and Ray loved gardening and working around the place.

Caroline is preceded in death by her husband, Ray W. Reeder in 2003 and great-grandchild Abigail Cate.

Caroline is survived by her only living sibling, her brother, Floyd "Bud" Niedecken and sister-in-law, Marsha, plus numerous nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by her daughter, Deborah Woods; son, Scott Woods and wife Tammi; great-grandchilden, Samantha, Heather, McKenzie and Danielle; daughter, Auben Moreno; great-grandchildren, Tristan and Alyssa. Connie Reeder and daughter Shelley Cate and husband Brandon; great-grandchildren, Megan, Bailey, Lily and Samantha. Son, Ronnie Reeder and wife Lee Ellen; daughter Angela Newsome and husband Shannon; daughter Rachel Gardner and husband Jon; great-grandchildren, Mia and Jack.

Visitation will be held, Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home, 3101 College Ave., Snyder, Texas.

Graveside Services will be at 2:30 PM, Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Fluvanna Cemetery with eulogy presented by Dr. Tommy Culwell, pastor of Colonial Hill Baptist Church.
