Mrs. Glenna Faye Layne Blair, 83 of Snyder, TX died on Monday, June 05, 2017 in Snyder Texas.

Services for Mrs. Blair will be held on Thursday, June 08, 2017 , at 10:00 AM at Colonial Hill Baptist Church with Dr. Tommy Culwell officiating. Internment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Blair was born on Friday, March 30, 1934 in Rule, Tx on Jones Ranch to Glendon Alex and Lela Mae (Marion) Newton .She married John William Layne and later Curtis Blair who both preceded her in death. She moved several times with her parents before starting school in Ira, Texas in the 4th grade, which is were she graduated with her twin brother Bob. She later moved to Colorado City and went to work at Texas electric as cashier after graduating. Faye worked in the grocery business as a checker for 26 years in Snyder, Post and Muleshoe.

She was preceded in death by:

Buford Newton, Doyle Newton and her twin brother Bobby

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 07, 2017 from 6 PM to 7PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
