Randolph Reynolds Lyon

Randolph Reynolds Lyon was born on September 8, 1962 to William (Bill) Randolph Lyon and Laska Sue Reynolds Lyon in San Antonio, TX. Randy went home on Tuesday, September 19, 2017.

In 1971 the Lyon family moved to Snyder, TX. Randy graduated from Snyder High School in 1981 and worked at the Snyder Daily News. Later he worked at various restaurants in Abilene, TX and in manufacturing in Lubbock, TX.

He returned to Snyder in 2009 to help his mother care for Bill through his battle with cancer. Randy had a beautiful bass voice and loved EVERYONE deeply and unconditionally. Randy could truly say as Paul did "All I know is Christ and Him crucified."

Randy is survived by his mother Sue of Snyder, one brother Mark and Lydia Lyon of Buffalo Gap, nephews Seth Lyon, Jesse Lyon and wife Kayla, niece Kendra and husband Noah and great niece Adelyn Lyon, all of Abilene. Randy was preceded in death by his father, Bill Lyon who passed away in 2010.

Services for Mr. Lyon will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2017 , at 2:00 PM at East Side Church of Christ with Mr. Tom Holcomb and Mr. Brian Starr officiating. Internment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Saturday September 23, 2017 at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
