Andre B. Sanchez
1946-2024
Andre' B. Sanchez, 77, passed away January 15, 2024 at his home in Snyder.
A private family gathering will be held in the spring when the fish are biting. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Andre's father, Lorenzo, was in the Army and stationed in France and met Aimee Bourgue. They married and Andre was born in France on June 6, 1946. It was over a year after Lorenzo was discharged from the service before Andre and his mother were reunited with Lorenzo in Midland, Texas.
As his family and friends know, Andre' was always a man of his own and he had his own ways of doing everything. After graduation from Midland High School and a stent in the Marine Corps, he began to work his plan.
Starting as a mail clerk at Chevron USA in Midland, he continued moving his way through the ranks and was transferred to Snyder in the late 1970's where he met a challenge in his life plan.
Andre' Sanchez and Claudia Lee were married December 16, 1980. Andre' still got to live out his dream only now he had a help mate. He retired from Chevron at the age of 50 and lived his dream of fishing, hunting, and working in hs garden for the last 27 years of his life. However, the last 11 years were his biggest challenge, and in the end, he achieved the highest goal ever.
Preceded in death, were his parents, Lorenzo and Aimee (Bourgue) Sanchez and pets Sledge and Tiger.
He is survived by his Wife of 43 years, Claudia; brothers, Lorenzo Sanchez Jr. and wife Shannon, Louis Sanchez and wife Pam; and nieces Michelle and husband Willie Garcia, Jennifer and husband Mike Shannon and nephew Louis Sanchez, Jr. and wife Casey; and his best friends Bandit and Gray-C.
