Arthur Lee Harris Jr.

Mr. Arthur Lee Harris, Jr., 74, of Odessa,TX, previously of Snyder, Texas died on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at MCH Medical Center in Odessa, Texas.

A Funeral Service for Mr. Harris, Jr. will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023, at Bell Cypert Seale Funeral Home at 2 PM with Pastor Billy D Huey officiating. Internment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Arthur Lee Harris, Jr. was born March 21, 1948, in Mount Enterprise, Rusk County, Texas.  He graduated from Dunbar High School in Lubbock, Texas.  He worked at Newell Manufacturing in San Antonio, Texas, and he also worked at Eagle Pitcher Manufacturing for many years.  Arthur’s passion was welding.  He was a Welder and owned Harris Ornamental Welding.  He enjoyed working on cars, playing Poole and riding horses.  Arthur departed this life on February 18, 2023.

Arthur is preceded in death by his parents Arthur Lee Harris Sr, and Margie Harris; brother, Donald Ray Harris; sisters, Lois Mae Isaac, and Renna Harris.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 25 years, Billie Jean Harris, his children, Robert L. Moore Jr., Arlington, Tx; Cheryl D. Huey (Billy), Lubbock, Tx; Arthur L. Harris III (Toni); DeSoto, Tx; Trish Redmond (Charles), Ovilla, Tx; LaChandra Harris, Marlin, Tx; Edwin D. James (Rose); Edmond C. James (Heather); all of Snyder, Tx; Kenetra Rodriquez (Eric), Dallas, Tx;  24 grandchildren; brother, Earl Wayne Harris and one aunt, Julie Faye Anderson; Mount Enterprise, Rusk County, Tx, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
