Betty Ellen Thompson

Betty Ellen Thompson, 74 of Snyder, Texas died on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at her home.

Services for Mrs. Thompson will be Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Snyder with Mr. Rick Williams and Reverend Ben Reid officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Garden. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Thompson was born June 10, 1947 in Roscoe to Aubrey and Rosie (Kuss) Williams. She married Derwin Thompson on July 26, 1969 and they enjoyed their marriage for the last 52 years. She was a loving wife, mother, and Nonna to her family. For 20 years, Mrs. Thompson taught 3rd grade for Snyder ISD. She shared her faith with everyone she saw. Anyone that knew Mrs. Betty Thomspon would describe her as a woman of faith that exuded joy and positivity. She was a strong prayer warrior and she enjoyed teaching the "Next to Heaven" Womens Bible Class at Colonial Hill Baptist Church for many years.
