Mrs. Billie Earlene Gray, 90, went to her heavenly home Thursday, March 31, 2022.
A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Hillside Memorial Gardens with Dr. Tommy Culwell officiating. Services are under the direction of Bell Cypert Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Gray was born on March 13, 1932, in Snyder, Texas to Billy and Libby Grimmett. She graduated from Snyder High School. She married Howard E. Gray on October 14, 1950, in Snyder. She was a loving sister, aunt, and friend. Always taking care of everyone and voted by the family to have made the best macaroni salad. She always made plenty so the family could have some to continue to enjoy after family gatherings.
She worked at her family business, Grimmett Brothers, for 45 years; retiring in 1995. She enjoyed travelling, Beta Sigma Phi, and her toy poodles, and caring for her flowers during her spare time. She was also a member of Colonial Hill Baptist Church.
Billie Earlene is survived by 1 Sister, Rita Lawrence, 4 brothers: Jacky Grimmett and wife D'Ann, Norman Grimmett and wife Shirley, Ray Max Grimmett and wife Judy, Frankie Grimmett and wife Patty. She also leaves behind many treasured nieces, nephews and other extended family.
She is preceded by her parents, Bill and Libby Grimmett, Her husband, Howard Gray; niece, Paula Grimmett Gilley, and special friend, E.D. Walton.
