Bonnie Valrie (Jones) Crenshaw, 95, of Snyder, TX, died on Monday, April 10, 2023, at Cogdell Memorial Hospital in Snyder.
A funeral service for Mrs. Crenshaw will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at 2:00 PM at 37th St. Church of Christ with Mr. Joey Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Crenshaw was born on August 5, 1927, in China Grove, TX to Andrew and Pluma (Webb) Jones. As a proud, life-long resident of Scurry County, she witnessed the oil boom and saw Snyder as the "All-American City." She graduated from Snyder High School in the class of 1944 being chosen as the "Most Beautiful" and "Most Friendly". After high school, she married Howard Crenshaw on June 6, 1949, in Snyder, Texas, and he preceded her in death on May 21, 2005. She was employed in Snyder as a cashier during the oil boom at Snyder National Bank and also worked at Erwin Jewelry and Cox Jewelers. She was a charter member of 37th Street Church of Christ where she taught Bible classes and was the oldest living member in the congregation. In addition to following her kids and grandkids to various sporting events, she and Jeral enjoyed watching the Texas Rangers and Dallas Mavericks. She was the last survivor of five children.

Brodye and Breelyn Cole;
and her special friend,
Jeral Beard.
She was preceded in death by her

Howard Crenshaw;

Andrew and Pluma Jones;

3 Sisters,
Opal Minton, Madie Jones, and Hazel Berry.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 6 PM to 7 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
