Brice B. Fuqua

Mr.Brice B. Fuqua, 88 of Hermleigh,TX died on Sunday, October 07, 2018 in Lubbock Texas.

Service for Mr. Fuqua will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel with Reverend Joshua Smith officiating. Internment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Fuqua was born on April 21, 1930 in Dexter , MO to Lisle Owen and Pearl Dorthea Deardorff Fuqua. He married Joyce Hall on April 08, 1955 in Colorado City, TX.

Mr. Fuqua taught Elementary school for 34 years in Hermleigh, Ira and Monte Alto. He was a farmer, a coach and a Boy Scout leader. He received a degree in Agriculture. He raised show pigs, exotic birds and was a carpenter and enjoyed woodworking. He had a green house where he raised orchids and many other flowers. He liked to donate eggs and vegetables to the local food cupboard. He was active in Historic Scurry County. He was also a member of the Hermleigh Central Baptist Church. Mr. Fuqua served in the U.S. Army and was a tank commander.
