Carol Dee Traylor

September 5, 1945 — February 4, 2025

Snyder

Carol Traylor, 79, earned her wings to heaven and landed in the arms of Jesus on February 4, 2025. Carol died at home surrounded by loved ones. There will be a graveside service at 2 PM, Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Terrace Cemetery in Post, TX, with Reverend Danny Williams officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Carol was born September 5, 1945 to Ray and Annie Hodges on a ranch just north of Post, Texas. She graduated from Post high school in 1963 and married her high school sweetheart, Gary Brewer. Gary preceded her in death in 1981. To them was born one son, Mark, in 1971. Carol then met and married Bob Traylor in 1982 in Snyder Texas.

Carol's two greatest loves in her life was her love for Jesus and being a mom and homemaker. She never faulted in her love for Jesus and read from her bible every day. She was the greatest mom ever. She saw Mark through grade school as a room mother, through cub scouts as a den leader, and through little league as his number one rooter.

After Bob retired, she and Bob loved to travel with their fifth wheel trailer. She dearly loved the Smoky mountains in Tennessee.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Gwen from Lubbock.

She is survived by her husband, Bob, and her son Mark, one sister, Lois, of Plainview, and numerous nieces and nephews.

No visitation is planned.

The family sends thanks to the staff of hospice of Snyder and a special thanks to
