Casey Brent Terry

With deepest sorrow, we announce that Casey Brent Terry, 34, our most beloved son, brother, family member and friend passed suddenly on March 7, 2021 at his home in Loraine.   Those that knew Casey, even if brief, lost a shining star in their lives.   Casey was born June 20,1986 in San Angelo, Tx to Brent and Mandy (Tubb) Terry.  Mandy’s love for horses was passed down to Casey, who attended Cowtown Farrier school in Miles City, Montana.  Casey was  an excellent farrier.

Casey will be missed everyday by his mother Mandy, his father Brent, his sister Cydni, his niece Molly McFadden, Paternal Grandmother Nita Terry, Aunts Cheyenne Holms (husband Aaron Holms) and Shannon Tubb, Uncles Barry Tubb and Mark Terry (wife Quenna), and his many cousins especially Chere.  However, he will be most missed by his dogs Daisy and Biscuit and his horse Buffman.

Casey is well known from border to border of Texas and beyond as he never met a stranger.  Casey had a deep love for his family and friends, and cherished the time they would spend together.  Casey especially loved playing practical jokes and sending silly texts and jokes.  He was the most genuine, helpful, kind, happy, loving, generous and hard working person anyone will ever meet.  He had a heart of gold and an innocence, which made you instantly love him.  He prided himself as the best bareback rider that there ever was. He was an avid hunter, gun lover, lover of all animals, and history buff.  Casey had so much goodness, and  capacity to bring happiness to others.

He will continue to stay with us all through memories, and laughs he forced upon us whether we were in the mood for it or not.  We will see him everywhere in his polo shirt, dirty pants and boots, listening to history podcasts and drinking a 16oz coke.  The world is a lesser place without him.  We are lesser family without him.  Until we meet again sweet boy.

Celebration of his life will be LuKacy’s 10275 TX-208, Hermleigh, Texas 79526 on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at 2:00 PM. Services are under the direction of Bell Cypert Seale Funeral Home.
