Mr. Christopher Garrett, 53 of Omaha, NE, formerly of Snyder, died on Friday, January 14, 2022, at his home in Omaha, NE.

Services for Mr. Garrett will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022, at 10:00 AM at 37th St. Church of Christ with Mr. Stewart Long officiating. Interment will follow at Snyder Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Christopher Garrett was born on November 17, 1968, in Duarte, CA to Floyd Vernon Thompson and Emma Lorine Garrett. He was a 1987 graduate of Snyder High School where he played football, basketball, and ran track. He signed with the University of Nebraska to play football and graduated in 1992 with a degree in Finance. He went on to work for Burlington Northern & Santa Fe (BNSF), Union Pacific, and later Canadian National Railways. Chris had an extremely large number of friends and was always willing to help anyone. He always had a smile on his face and never met a stranger. he will be greatly missed.
