Mrs. Joanne Sterling, 83 of Ira,TX died on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 in Lubbock.

Services for Mrs. Sterling will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018, at 10:00 AM at Calvary Baptist Church with Reverend LeRoy Ochoa and Reverend Matt Lowery officiating. Internment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Sterling was born on Monday, December 17, 1934 in Corsicana, TX to Walton Ocie and Jimmie Loraine (Fulton) Tipping.She married Mickey Sterling on Saturday, August 25, 1951 in Snyder, TX. . Mrs. Sterling was a homemaker and a member of Knapp Baptist church,
