Danny Owen Culpepper

Mr. Danny Owen Culpepper, 82 of Snyder,TX died on Friday, May 7, 2021 in Snyder.

At his request, a celebration of life will be held for Mr. Culpepper on Friday, May 14, 2021 from 2 PM to 5 PM at the family home for his friends and family. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Culpepper was born on November 12, 1938 in Wichita Falls, TX to Vernon O. and Lovie L. (Roe) Culpepper .He married his high school sweetheart, Paula, on Monday, July 1, 1957 in Fredrick, OK. and together they have celebrated 64 years of marriage and are the proud parents of 3 daughters. In 1957 Danny joined the Marine Corps under a pilot program, he went through bootcamp and then served 8 years in the Reserves. After the Marines, he worked for Parker's Food Store in Wichita Falls, Texas and continued in the food industry working for many different grocery chains, and retired from Mother Earth Health Foods in Ocala, Florida. Mr. Culpepper was a member of Maskat Temple as a Shrine Clown named "Cully" and he served the prestigious position of Clown President for 1 year. During his time as a Shriner in Wichita Falls, he began "Toy's For Tots" by refurbishing a child's bicycle. Soon after the program expanded and each Christmas, they would entertain and provide gifts for underprivledged children. In 2008, he joined the Snyder community and have lived here ever since.
