David Jesse Guerra

David Jesse Guerra, 76, went to be with his Heavenly Father on November 24, 2022.

He was born in Snyder, Texas on August 2, 1946 to Jesse and Alicia Guerra. He attended elementary school in Snyder and military academies in San Antonio and San Marcos. In 1965, he joined the Army, and served his country as a medical corpsman for three years.

He returned home to Snyder in 1968. He worked and lived on the Diamond M Ranch, later becoming the Arrowhead Ranch, for 38 years until his retirement in 2006. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working outdoors. As a retired cowboy he enjoyed going to cook-offs with Jerry Baird and Jackie Greene.

He is survived by his sisters, Mary Alice Caldwell (Bill), Delia (Dee) McDonald (Ed) and Rita Brady; nieces and nephews, Andrea Garcia, Brian McDonald, Valerie Stephenson (Justin) and Ross Brady (Kristen); great nephews, JD and Jace Brady; numerous cousins and other close relatives.

He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, brother-in-law Jim Brady, many friends and relatives, and his beloved animals, including his favorite horse, Dusty.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Becca, Vanessa and the staff at Hospice of Midland.

Visitation at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home in Snyder, Texas on Friday, December 2, 2022 from 6:00-7:00 pm.

Funeral services will take place at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home on Saturday, December 3 at 10:00 am.

Burial to follow services at Hillside Memorial Gardens.
