Derwin Thompson

Mr. Carroll Derwin Thompson, 84, of Snyder TX joined his beautiful wife and his Lord and Savior on Friday, October 6, 2023, at Cogdell Memorial Hospital.

A Graveside Service for Mr. Derwin Thompson will be held on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Hillside Memorial Gardens with Hospice Chaplain Kinney Robinson officiating. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Derwin was born on January 17, 1939 in Big Spring, TX to Cleb and Zella (Strickland) Thompson. He married Betty Williams on July 26, 1969 in Snyder, Texas. They enjoyed 52 years of marriage before she preceded him in death on June 24, 2021. He held a Bachelors degree from Texas Tech and spent many years as a Banker for West Texas State Bank.

He is survived by

David  Williams, Snyder, TX;

Hospice Nurse,

Rachel Welch;

and 2 wonderful caretakers,

Janie Villanueva and Pat Sanchez.

He was preceded in death by

Parents, Cleb and Zella Thompson and his wife Betty Thompson.
