She sometimes referred to herself as Dorothy Louise Murdock Ethridge Campbell.

Died peacefully in the hospital in Brenham,Texas surrounded by her family.

Born to Millard and Lillie Murdock in the Bright Star Community, Rains County Texas.

Preceded in death by her parents, brother Mannan and sisters Jewell and Linnie, and husbands Tom      Ethridge (1946-1962) and Nathan Campbell (1978-2006).

Survived by son Ray Ethridge and wife Carol, daughter Kay Veazey and husband Richard, and son Lee Ethridge and wife Kari; stepson Byron Campbell and stepdaughter Nancy LaRoux;  grandchildren Shannon, Heather, Patrick, Robs, Travis, Teresa, Wendy, Thad and Shelly.  Great grandchildren Darian, Hadley, Avery, Owen. Austin, Tristen, Miranda, Cade, Bryce, Jace and Kylie and great great grandchildren Finnegan and Aurora, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was an avid genealogist and loved butterflies, birds, wildlife, her family and her faith.

A celebration of life will be held on April 11 at Brenham Bible Church, 2804 Gun and Rod Road, Brenham, TX 77633 at 5:00 pm.
