Mr. Douglas Glenn Foster, 81, of Hermleigh, TX, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Goodlife Senior Living. A memorial service for Mr. Foster will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, October 6, 2024, at Colonial Hill Baptist Church. Burial will be at Texas State Cemetery in Abilene. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Foster was born on March 9, 1943, to Glenn and Golda (Caffey) Foster in Roscoe, TX. Douglas married Belinda Bell on December 13, 1963, in Snyder, TX. Mr. Foster was a U.S. Army Veteran in the Vietnam War. He worked for Chevron for 25 years. He loved all people and his church. Mr. Foster was a Deacon at First Baptist Church of Hermleigh, and Colonial Hill Baptist Church in Snyder. He loved fishing and cooking.

Rodney Foster and wife Jody of Sweetwater, TX;

Sherry Winkles and husband Wayne of Brownwood, TX;

Vanessa Coolbaugh of Brownwood, TX;

3 Grandchildren,

Kaitlyn, Jackson, and Harrison Foster of Sweetwater, TX.

He was preceded in death by his,
