Dudley C Ochsner

Dudley C. Ochsner 90 years of age, of Arcadia, California passed away Sunday, August 11, 2019. Loving son of Lucian and Nora Ochsner, he was born May 30, 1929 in Abernathy, Texas. In 1948 Dudley attended Texas Technological College and in 1954 attended Wayland Baptist College. Dudley married Julia Ann Ochsner in 1965 in Monteray, California, they enjoyed 54 years of marriage together. Dudley worked approximately 46 years as a commodities broker, the last 23 years of which he spent running his own company, Ochsner Commodities Inc., of Pasadena California.

Dudley was a true gentleman, who will be remembered by his friends as a man who was positive, encouraging, straightforward, and dignified. He will be remembered by his sons and their families as a good man, who was always encouraging, kind, and who told wonderful stories. A man whose sons and families never had to wonder if Dad loved them or was proud of them. And he will be remembered by his wife as a man who was steadfast, loving, and a provider and always the voice of reason.

Dudley is survived by his wife Julia Smith Ochsner, his two sons Eric and Evan Ochsner ( of Colorado and California), their families Brenda Klein Ochsner and Lisa Cloud Ochsner, and his four grandchildren Lila, Violet, Luke, and Solana Ochsner.

A graveside memorial service will be held Sunday, August 25th, at 2:00 pm
at Hillside Memorial Gardens, Snyder, Texas. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
