Easter Ouzzie Lee Smith

Mrs. Easter Ouzzie Lee Smith, 87, of Snyder,TX died on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 in Snyder at Cogdell Memorial Hospital.

Service for Mrs. Smith will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022, at 37th Street Church of Christ at 2:00 PM with Mr. Bob Martin officiating. Internment will follow at Snyder Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Smith was born on Thursday, March 29, 1934 in Terrell, TX to Ouzzie and Jessie (Robertson) McClain as one of 14 children.The family later moved to Snyder in the 1940's. She married Willie Huse Smith from Hollis, Oklahoma on April 8, 1953 in Snyder, Texas. He preceded her in death on August 10, 1985. To this union, 3 children were born; two girls and one boy. They found Christ at an early age, reared their children in fear, love, and the admiration of Christ. Easter was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend.
