Mrs. Frances Marie Pitner, 92 of Snyder,TX died on Friday, September 24, 2021 in Snyder.

Due to Coronavirus, a graveside service will be held for her close friends and family at Hillside Memorial Gardens with Reverend Ryan Ford of 1st United Methodist Church of Snyder officiating. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Pitner was born on April 12, 1929 in Snyder, TX to Oscar and Pearl (King) Megason. She married Pete Pitner in 1947 in Snyder, Texas and he preceded her in death on November 24, 2012. She enjoyed reading and crocheting. She was a caregiver in her own right and loved to take care of her kids and grandchildren. She was an assistant librarian at the Scurry County Library from 1962 until her retirement in 1985. She was a member of the Genological Society and Trinity United Methodist Church.
