Frances "Raye" Sterling

Mrs. Frances Raye Sterling, 93, of Ira,TX died on Friday, October 13, 2023, At Goodlife Senior Living Center in Snyder.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Raye Sterling will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 2 PM at Ira Baptist Church with Pastor Ben Moore officiating. Internment will follow at Ira Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Sterling was born on August 4, 1930 in Snyder, TX to John and Tempie (Ford) Wall. She married Warren "Pete" Horace Sterling and they enjoyed many years together before he preceded her in death in June of 1985. She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed being a homemaker. She was a member of the PTA in the Ira School District and was a long time member of the Ira Baptist Church.

Kirby Sterling and wife Pat, Ira, TX;

5 Grandchildren,

Justin Donelson and wife JoBeth, Ira, TX,

Celeigh Adair and Husband Corde, Abilene, TX,

Emily Arnold and Husband James, Hockley, TX,

Audrey Smith and Husband Brice, Ira, TX,

Allen Jones and Wife Kelsey, Ira, TX;

10 Great Grandchildren, and

2 Sisters In Law,

Dot Wall and Helen Allen.

She was preceded in death by her

Parents,

John and Tempie Wall;

Husband,

Pete Sterling;

3 Sisters, Flossie Mae Walls, Pauline Boyd, Ozie  Sumruld;

Brothers, Walter, Grover, James Eddie, Milton, and J.C. Wall;

and Son In Law,

Kevin Jones.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, from 6 PM to 7 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Memorial Donations in honor of Raye can be made to Ira Baptist Church or your favorite local charity.
