Frank Ortegon

Mr. Frank Ortegon, dedicated father and husband, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at the age of 95.

A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 6:00 PM at Bell Cypert Seale Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service for Mr. Ortegon will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church officiated by Father Selva Pappu. Interment will follow at Snyder Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Bell Cypert Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Ortegon was born on August 26, 1928, in Pear Valley, Texas to Francisco and Celia (Gauna) Ortegon. He married Beatriz Canales on November 27, 1950, and raised 7 sons. She preceded him in death on August 20, 2008. He was a proud member of the US Army. Mr. Ortegon was a Deacon for Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church for 30 years, a school crossing guard for 20 years, and was involved in numerous church activities.

Mr. Ortegon is survived by his sons: Frank Jr. (Gloria), Ismael (Debra), Jaime, Miguel (Bonnie), and Israel (Monica) Ortegon; 13 Grandchildren: John, Stephen, Danny, Chris, Ismael Jr., Phillip Ortegon, Veronica Buenrrostro, Josh, Jordan, Samantha, Joel, Gabriel, and Laura Ortegon; and 15 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Beatriz, 2 sons, Joel and Samuel, and Grandchildren: Juan Pablo Ortegon, Jared and Alexis Ortegon.
