Fritz Robert Smith Iii

On Saturday, March 12th, Fritz R Smith III peacefully passed away to the other side and was greeted by his wife of over 50 years, Darla J. Smith.
Fritz was a great brother and friend to his sisters, Clare Freeman (Gary) and Sheila Hopper (Charlie), who he is survived by.
He will be greatly missed by his children, Coby Scott, Fritz Robert Smith IV, and Sam Smith (Barbara).
Fritz, better known as Pepa to his six grandchildren, is survived by them including James Smith (Celeste), Clint Woody (Stephanie), Jordan Boucher, Will Smith, Jeremy Smith (Kelly), and Sam NcGarby (Liz), along with five great-grandchildren.
Fritz was loved and adored by his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and countless dogs.
Born in Brownwood and raised in Snyder, he was an inventor, jokester, and loving family man. His sweet demeanor and sense of humor will be missed for years to come.
The family is holding a celebration of life at his home on Saturday March 19th and invite loved ones to gather and share stories of Fritz. In lieu of flowers, they are asking for you to adopt a stray dog or donate to your local animal shelter.
