Born on September 23, 1953, George enlisted in the United States Army after high school, proudly serving his country. George would go on plant deep roots in the community he loved. George's entrepreneurial spirit and big heart were the cornerstones of his successful business ventures in Snyder. He believed in the community and chose to raise his children there, creating a legacy they can carry forward with pride.
After being in the military, George embraced the role of fatherhood. His children held a special place in his heart, and he found joy in being an active and loving presence in their lives. His unwavering support and encouragement lifted them to reach their fullest potential, and he celebrated their every accomplishment, big or small.
A man of unwavering Christian faith, George found strength in his beliefs, even during life's most challenging struggles.
Throughout his life, George's love for his family was unmatched. He held a special place in his heart for his granddaughters, whom he affectionately referred to as "his girls." To him, they were a blessing beyond measure, and he treasured every moment they spent together. Their presence brought him immeasurable happiness, and he took great pride in watching them grow and thrive.
One of George's greatest joys was attending the girls' schools each year for their Veterans Day programs. The girls affectionately referred to him as "Popo”. To George, 'his girls' were his reason for being, and he spoke of them at any given opportunity.
George also loved his sweet dogs, whom he affectionately named after his beloved cars, Beamer and Lincoln.
