Mr. Hubert Lee Starnes, 81 of Lubbock,TX died on Monday, January 04, 2021 Beehive Assisted Living in Lubbock, TX.

Services for Mr. Starnes will be held on Thursday, January 07, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with Reverend Ryan Ford officiating. Internment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Starnes was born on December 15, 1939 in Snyder, TX to Hubert and Beulah (Crumley) Starnes. He married Alice Johnson on, September 28, 1962 in Snyder, TX. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Snyder for many years. He was a Master Sergeant in the Unites States Air Force having served our country for over 23 years and he was a lifetime member of the American Legion. He worked as a projectionist at the Tiger Drive Inn and later developed a love for electronics. Towards the end of his military career he helped work on the the space shuttle Columbia's ground avionics system.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 07, 2021 from 1 PM to 2 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
