Jackie Wright Womack

Mr. Jackie Wright Womack, 87, a longtime resident of Snyder,TX died on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Cogdell Memorial Hospital in Snyder, TX.

A Funeral Service for Mr. Womack will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with Hospice Chaplain Kinney Robinson officiating. Internment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Womack was born on October 25, 1935 in Olney, TX to Wright Moore "BO" and Luna Mae (Speer) Womack. He owned and operated a water well drilling business, J. W. Womack Drilling Service.

At the age of 17 he joined the Marine Corps and served from 1954-1957 during the Korean War. He was in the Reconnissance Company. While stationed in Hawaii, he became a Navy Seal, UDT 13. He loved to tell people stories of his experiances in the military.

He married Connie Sue Wiley December 7, 1957. They had 4 children, worked hard running the business together and always managed to make time for the fun things in life. They enjoyed traveling across the U.S. and going to the beach, lakes and Big Bend.

Jackie had a number of interests and hobbies that included airplanes, model airplanes, drones. mortorcycles, boating, sailing, wind surfing, waterskiing, snow skiing, scuba diving, hiking, camping, RV'ing, ping pong and billiards/pool. He loved life and spending time with friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his

A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 5 PM to 6 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
